Important note: Ingredient and allergen information on product packaging always reflects the most current formulation. Individual sensitivities can vary. If you have an allergy or dietary concern, please review the product label carefully and consult your healthcare provider.

Do Mavericks Bolt Cookies contain any of the Top 8 allergens?

(Milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans)

Wheat: Our Bolt Cookies are made with whole wheat (graham) flour. We use soft white wheat, a variety known for its lighter color and milder flavor, helping deliver the familiar taste and texture families expect.

Soy: Our Bolt Cookies contain soy lecithin, which is used in small amounts as an emulsifier during baking.

Although validated cleaning procedures are used, Bolt Cookies may contain Milk. While milk is not an ingredient in Bolt Cookies, they are produced in a facility that also processes milk-containing products.

Do Mavericks Sandwich Crackers contain any of the Top 8 allergens?

Wheat: Our Sandwich Crackers are made with whole wheat flour, a whole grain that includes all parts of the wheat kernel — the bran, germ, and endosperm.

Peanuts (Peanut Butter only): Our Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers contain peanuts. Other Sandwich Cracker flavors do not contain peanuts as ingredients but are manufactured on shared equipment.

Milk (Cheddar only): Our Cheddar Sandwich Crackers contain milk from cheese used in the filling.

Although validated cleaning procedures are used, Sandwich Crackers may contain Soy. While soy is not an ingredient in Sandwich Crackers, they are produced in a facility that also processes soy-containing products.

All Mavericks Snacks are made in North America.

Where are Mavericks Snacks' ingredients sourced?

Our ingredients are sourced from a mix of domestic and international suppliers. We prioritize sourcing from the U.S. whenever possible, while also working with trusted partners globally to ensure consistent quality, availability, and flavor.

Is the cheese in Mavericks Cheddar Sandwich Crackers vegetarian?

Yes. Our Cheddar Sandwich Crackers are made with vegetarian cheddar cheese, produced without animal-derived rennet.

Are your dairy ingredients made with milk from cows treated with rBST?

No. The milk used to make our cheddar cheese comes from cows not treated with rBST (recombinant bovine somatotropin).*

*FDA guidance: No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST-treated cows and non-rBST-treated cows.

What does “natural flavors” mean in your products?

When we use natural flavors, they are derived from natural sources such as spices, cocoa, or other plant-based ingredients. They’re used in small amounts to help round out and balance flavor—not to mask poor ingredients.

All natural flavors used in our products meet FDA requirements and are commonly used in food products.

What is your approach to sugar?

We focus on offering snacks with less sugar than many leading family brands, without relying on artificial sweeteners, syrups, or sugar alcohols.

All of our snacks contain 5g of sugar per serving or less, delivering familiar, crave-worthy flavors with a more balanced sugar approach.

Why do you use Chicory Root in your Bolt Cookies?

Our Bolt Cookies include chicory root fiber, a plant-based fiber commonly used in baked goods. It helps support texture and balance sweetness while contributing fiber to the recipe.

What is shelf life of Mavericks Snacks?

Mavericks Snacks are best enjoyed within 12 months, as printed on the package, for optimal taste and freshness. Products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight. Consuming products after the printed date is not recommended, as quality and freshness may be affected.

Are Mavericks Snacks organic?

All Mavericks Snacks are Non-GMO Project Verified®. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure our ingredients meet that standard and do not contain genetically engineered ingredients.

While we are not currently pursuing organic certification, our focus is on sourcing high-quality, thoughtfully selected ingredients and delivering great taste at a price that works for everyday families.

Are Mavericks Snacks vegan-friendly?

Many of our snacks are plant-based. Bolt Cookies and Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers are made without animal-derived ingredients and are considered plant-based / vegan-friendly. Cheddar Sandwich Crackers are made with real cheese and are vegetarian, but not vegan.

As always, we recommend checking individual product labels for the most up-to-date ingredient information.

What does it mean that your Palm Oil is RSPO-certified?

We source our palm oil from RSPO-certified suppliers (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), which means it is produced following standards designed to support responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship.

We choose RSPO-certified palm oil as part of our commitment to working with suppliers that prioritize ethical and sustainable practices.

Is Mavericks' packaging recylable?

Our outer cartons are 100% recyclable. Our inner pouch packaging is designed to help keep snacks fresh and maintain quality without relying on artificial preservatives. At this time, these pouches are not recyclable through standard curbside programs.

We’re always evaluating improvements and exploring more sustainable packaging options as materials and infrastructure continue to evolve.
